The vast difference between Compassion, Emotional Response, Pity and the service of the heart comes from the centers from which each type of energy is at their core or source. The service of the heart comes from a soul infused personality in connection with the divine essence or spiritual triad. The centers of compassion, pity and emotional response come from the personality, ego or lower mind. Although they are true in their sense of relating to the personality they are still a part of a lower egoic vibration. True service of the heart is of a broader sense. It comes from a true soul infused personality or the first stages of the disciple with a sense of the group and service to humanity. IT IS A detached love coming from the inner world divine or a higher vibratory energy. This comes from the higher wider reaches of the mental plane. The monad and personality have become related.The three threads have become focused for the love energy of the group for humanity. Compassion, pity and emotional response are of a lower personality consciousness. They are real in their sense but are still in the three fold lower consciousness. The service of the heart is a path of greater service. This is a unwavering love and sense of purpose unlike the emotional sways of the lower mind and emotions. Some of this comes from a lower mental place and may even be a personal rather then group sense. The heart is limitless spiritual giving unlike the emotions of the lower self. The heart is selfless. This is of the highest energies. Compassion and ,pity are all benevolent gestures but do not commune with the higher energies.These would have to be raised to a higher level. Many of these lower vibratory feelings do not embrace humanity or the greater service.When the personality becomes magnitized from the soul and then the spiritual triad then and only then can initiation begin and the true service of the heart be magnitized. The antakarana is then built and the true service of the heart begins. If one looks at the Tree Of Life one sees the heart Tipareth directly connected to Chokmah the highest of the high. So is it with the heart. The heart is directly connected to the divine essence. The mental plane must be bridged for the heart to truly shine in its purest essence. Not to say mans sense of compassion and pity and emotional response is not without a sense of caring but it is not at the highest level. It is with a personal tone and often for a self or egoic- personality which may or may not be realized. Many of these emotions come from the emotional body that has not been refined. For the heart to shine in its purest purpose the sense of self must be only a resolve of detached observation. Many of these emotions are not oriented regulated or creative but, more like a stream that wells and reaches a point of deep emotion which is not of the level of the compassion of the heart which is the result of the intensification and lessons of the lower emotions. Control is the key. The heart is of self abnegation and of the purest nature.
